Rotec “Pure Series” PS 882 ‘Hard Surface Sanitizer’ is designed to break down and deactivate Virus particles on surfaces such as plastics, metals and coated surfaces etc, to kill them before they have the chance to inadvertently transfer to another person and cause early infection.

Covid-19 is a danger because it remains on surfaces it lands on after an infected person exhales, coughs or sneezes it into the surrounding atmosphere. This is particularly a danger when in enclosed spaces like motorcars, vans and trucks, where different drivers could occupy the same space, and enclosed working environments.

The FDA and the WHO report that Covid-19 can live on hard surfaces such as plastics where it allows a live virus particle to survive as a living infectious particle for many hours and in some circumstances up to 72 hours!

Surfaces such as stainless steel fare better with the viruses breaking down after 4 hours and also many absorbent surfaces such as cardboard start to break down the virus very quickly but both stainless steel and cardboard have detectable elements left on the surface for up to 48 hours.

Rotec Pure Hard Surface Sanitizer PS882 is a safe but effective formulation that contains 75% active ingredients! Meaning that when it is sprayed on a surface such as shared workshop tools, by the time it evaporates the surface will have no live virus particles on it!!

Rotec Pure Hard Surface Sanitizer PS882 is pre mixed and a gentle shake will allow the correct volume to be mixed and the attached fine spray applicator will ensure you can see that all surfaces are covered thoroughly, apply enough to lightly wet, not soak the surface and allow to evaporate air dry. It is designed for use on multiple and mixed surface areas such as vehicle cabs. (Please note, the continued use of any and all sanitizers will cause wear on susceptible surfaces. in such circumstances follow the directions on the can, test the steadfastness of the coating or surface with a small amount of the sanitiser in an inconspicuous area to check its compatibility, Do not use in enclosed areas in direct hot sunlight)

Rotec Pure Hard Surface Sanitizer is a pure and unadulterated blend that is not one of the current batch of dangerous products, available at the moment that contain Methanol (wood alcohol) and other unlicensed products (See Current FDA Guidance).

Rotec Pure Hard Surface Sanitizer can be conveniently left in your workshop as the ‘go to’ product to sanitize everything that has a communal use.

Rotec Pure Hard Surface Sanitizer PS882 can also be used in vehicles by holding the can in the position that the previous passengers face would have occupied, move the can up and down and side to side whilst spraying the air and surfaces that the passenger would have occupied when they were seated in the vehicle either as driver or passenger within the vehicle, do this for a few moments allowing the atomised product, to fall upon the surrounding surfaces. Leave vehicle doors open until the surface is air dry. (please consult the Manufacturers Manual and check for all surface suitability in an inconspicuous areas before commencing and do not use in this way in direct bright hot sunlight, because this can affect the surface stability of the normally hardy component surfaces, such as dashboards and door linings). Under current FDA Advice, any vehicle that has been used and is then left unused for over 72 hours should be safe to reoccupy, without sanitisation.
